Participants will build a soil moisture monitoring system that sends alerts when soil moisture is too low. Learn how to program a controller to periodically poll a soil moisture sensor and send text alerts to designated parties when moisture reaches pre-defined levels. All required components and a one-month membership to Fort Collins Creator Hub will be included in the course fee. Prerequisite: Basic soldering skills and understanding of electronics would be helpful but is not required.
