This year for Valentine's Day, make something truly special for your special someone!


Our wood shop boss Dave Moore will teach you how to create this awesome balancing walnut valentine. There will be flexibility in your design and for a little extra, you can customize it with a meaningful laser inscription! Only 6 spots available, so hurry and register before it fills up! All materials are included. 

NOTE: this is a two day project.


Sunday (1-4pm): You will work with a bandsaw, miter saw, and drill press to create the walnut heart.


Monday OR Tuesday (6-9pm): You may choose which day to come back to build the base, sand the edges, and stain your piece. If you choose to add the laser inscription, that will be the last step. We ask that you come prepared with some ideas! Laser inscriptions are $10. Some ideas for you: a quote, a poem, coordinates of a special place, a love note, a favorite song lyric. Keep in mind that it will need to be brief.
