Summer Camp Planning Session

If you are at all interested in helping out with our summer camps, please join us in our planning meetings. Our summer camps were a huge hit last year, so we are offering 4 sessions this summer. You do not need to be available the entire session to help, and you do not need to have specific making skills to help! We can always use more kid-wranglers. 

Design & Technology (2 sessions)

Learn design skills and software using Inkscape, OpenSCAD, TinkerCad and Sketchup. Create designs for our laser cutter, 3D printer, vinyl cutter and CNC router. Learn soldering, electronics and programming skills. Create projects on an Arduino microcontroller and Raspberry Pi.

Age: 10-17 years

Shop Skills

Design functional, physical objects and fabricate them with professional woodworking, metalworking and welding tools. Students will learn how to safely operate tools that can be used to custom build common items such as bookshelves, picture frames, tables, and planters.

Advanced Tech & Shop

Designed for those with some technology and shop skills experience. Learn and apply new skills to complete a complex project combining electronics and woodworking.
