Ben and Sasha's Van Tour

Members Ben and Sasha have been building out their beautiful van (Zephyr) and are nearly finished! They would like to invite everyone to come learn about their process and take a tour.

Building Our Traveling Home

After living in Denver for years, we (Ben and Sasha) decided we wanted something different. So, we quit our tech jobs, ended our lease and started out on an adventure. We traveled in a Honda Fit for a couple months, then switched to AirBnB’s for a few more months, visiting a different city each month. We really enjoyed it but realized the lifestyle wasn’t sustainable - AirBnB’s get costly and we wanted the flexibility to move whenever and be wherever, all while working.

We’d already explored the idea of Van Life and found it an alluring possibility. We checked out RVs and other custom-built vans before making the decision to build one ourselves. So, we bought a van!

Five months later and we’re finally seeing the light. We expected the van build to be hard but definitely didn’t expect it to be as challenging as it has been. Day after day of planning and building while also working full time jobs kinda sucks. But we’re doing it and it’s turning out amazing!

What makes ours special to us? A huge power system, a litter box area for our fur baby, hidden jewelry storage, a full kitchen, diy compost toilet, radiant heated floors, and a RECIRCULATING SHOWER!
