Discover the world of home automation using Node-Red and WIFI enabled sensors/switches.  Each student will receive a WIFI enabled switch and materials to flash its firmware in order to build a controllable light.  An introduction to the home automation software Node-Red will be provided by learning several methods to control the light. 

Students should have a good understanding of computer use and desire to learn about home automation. We recommend taking an Arduino or Raspberry Pi class with us if you are new to programming or working with automation. 

Ages 18 and up.
