We have recently upgraded to a new 13" Dewalt Planer with a helical cutterhead for the wood shop! We will be incorporating the same RFID lockout as other equipment that requires training. To help alleviate the need for training, we've set up 3 open sessions in March.

Wednesday 3/4 - 6-8pm

Sunday 3/8 from 2-4pm

Saturday 3/14 from 10am-1pm

If you would like to gain access to the planer, please stop by during one of these sessions for a quick refresher and safety orientation. It should take about 20 minutes to cover the machine. If you can't make one of these dates, you will have to go through the training class. We will be incorporating it in the Jointer, Planer, Drum Sander class.
