We had an awesome local carpenter, Gabe Dwiggins, come in January to demonstrate Japanese Carpentry techniques and tooling. He has offered to come in and teach some workshops in the next few months, but there are a few options. What do you guys want to learn most?
1. Building a Trestle Workbench/Saw Horse (commonly used in Japanese woodworking, but also applicable in any shop space)
2. Sharpening Hand Tools
3. Japanese Joinery Techniques
#2 the most, but really all three!
All 3 especially 1 and 3.
Thanks for your feedback! I'll post on social media too so we can get more input. Also, I will certainly propose that he teaches all three :).
Sharpening is a must
