Bore Hole in the end of Extruded Aluminum

I purchased some 30x30 extruded aluminum and some connector pieces but I bought them from different retailers. The connector is 7mm but the hole at the end of the aluminum is 6.8mm. I need to bore the end hole to 7mm. The hole needs to be enlarged for the first 2 inches.

What would be the best method of doing this?

If the pieces are short, less than about 10" long you could drill them in the milling machine. There are ways to end drill longer parts on the mill but it's a bit involved. Might be easier to reduce the diameter of the connector to fit the smaller hole.
